Trojans return the favour

CALGARY, ALTA., (Feb. 6, 2022) - Turnabout is fair play.

Less than 24 hours after losing in five sets to the Lethbridge College Kodiaks, the SAIT Trojans men's volleyball team served up their own 3-2 (17-25, 25-22, 25-18, 25-27, 15-12) win on Sunday afternoon in Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) action played in Calgary.

SAIT improves to 8-5 in the standings, while the Kodiaks fall to 8-5.

The Trojans were led by the amazing performance of Mitchell Newman, who recorded 31 kills in the match to go along with five blocks and two service aces.

Spencer Loucks (SAIT), who had seven blocks, and Jackson Gaehring (Lethbridge), who had 12 kills, were named Players of the Game.
