Trojans complete sweep of Lions

CALGARY, ALTA., (Nov. 20, 2021) - The SAIT Trojans men's volleyball team extended their win streak to three games on Saturday afternoon.

For the second time in less than 24 hours, the Trojans dealt the visiting Ambrose University Lions a 3-0 (25-21, 25-14, 26-24) loss in Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) action played at SAIT's Campus Centre.

The Lions remain in search of the first win, and now sit at 0-4 in the ACAC South Division standings.

SAIT was in control of most of the match, winning the first two sets handily, but Ambrose stormed back in the third set. At one point, they led the final set 19-12, forcing SAIT to call a timeout. However, the Trojans were able to claw their way back into the set and win 26-24 to close out the match.

SAIT Nicolas Bercht and Ambrose' Nicholas Jabusch were named Players of the Game.
