Set 1:

Huskies 25 Vikings 19 

The first set between the visiting Vikings and the hometown Huskies begins with a howitzer of a kill from Huskies #17 Carter Bragg who followed it up with a big block to score the first 2 points of the match. Later on in the match Augustana #13 Duncan MacDonald responded with his own spectacular cross-court shot. This energized the Vikings as the showed extra effort by chasing down long balls. However, the Vikings would fall short in set 1 25 Huskies 19 Vikings. 

Set 2:

Huskies 25 Vikings 15

The set began with a few serving errors from both sides as fatigue began to sink in from both sides. The Huskies used the depth on their roster for the match and the Vikings fighting against the long travel day up Hwy 63 to Fort McMurray. However, #1 Cameron Visscher for the Huskies and #1 Thomas Zimmerman for the Vikings began to rise above the rest with an impressive back and forth rally. Zimmerman bested the Huskies at the end of the rally but Visscher's Huskies took the second set 25 Huskies 15 Vikings.

Set 3:

Huskies 25 Vikings 12

Huskies continued to keep the momentum going as they jumped out to an early lead and did not look back. Huskies swept the Vikings in 3 sets with the final set score 25 Huskies 12 Vikings.
