Last time the Keyano Huskies played the Grande Prairie Regional College Wolves in Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference men's volleyball regular season action was October 18-19, 2019 on the Wolves home court, winning 3-0 and 3-0 behind scores of 25-23, 25-18, 25-15 and 25-22, 25-21, 25-22 respectfully.

Ranked No. 11 in recent Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association polls, the Huskies host the Wolves tonight on their home court Canadian Natural Gymnasium.

Look for the talents of the Brazilian Blizzard - Joao Cunha 1st in the ACAC in hitting percentage and Athus Silva, 1st in the ACAC in blocking.

Huskies come out sluggish down 0-4 and 3-11. Huskies service ace by Don Campbell makes it 15-17 to the loud applause of the Friday night crowd. Wolves Thomas Wheeler uses all 6-foot-8 of his height to give the Wolves the lead 19-16 with a spike straight down.

 

Set 2

Keyano 25 Grande Prairie 20

Huskies have shaken out the cobwebs. Rookie Cunha making some noise with some BANGOS and service aces. Wolves coach Sam Tu'ivai calls timeout down 4-10. A service ace by Cunha makes it 22-20 timeout GP.

 

Set 3

Keyano 25 Grande Prairie 18

Trey Weinmeier, Connor Clark and Simon Tremblay playing strong for the home side. It's the Campbell show for the last three straight points with two service aces and a BANGO.
