The team's respective middles – Huskies 6-foot-7 Don Campbell and Wolves 6-foot-8 Thomas Wheeler – both providing excellent defence and offence at start of the match. Following a Campbell BANGO and service ace the Wolves take a timeout down 20-16. Huskies rookie Joao Cunha gets airtime for some big kills.

A small but energetic Huskies crowd – beautiful winter day outside, so not doubt many people enjoying the benefits of the outdoors – show their pleasure for a strong Husky offence and defence as the Wolves call timeout down 9-4. Campbell powering his serves which result in not a Jack, Queen or King but ACE. Huskies players smiling and having fun. Wolves' timeout down 19-11. Huskies Carter Bragg, Damian Goscianski and Kylar Head meshing-in well. Rookie libero Anderson King gets to see the hardwood and makes a great save for the Huskies with the bench applauding.
