Huskies Defeat Clippers In Straight Sets

EDMONTON, ALTA. - The (north #1) Keyano Huskies defeated the (south #4) Briercrest Clippers in straight sets (25-16, 25-13, 25-20) in quarter-final action of the 2019 Sutton Place Hotel ACAC Men's Volleyball Championship.

The Keyano Huskies came out strong taking the first set 25-16. They would keep the momentum, taking the second set convincingly 25-13 and a 2-0 lead. The third set would be the same story as the Clippers couldn't handle the Huskies attack. Keyano took the final set 25-20 and the match 3-0.

When asked about the key to his team's win, Keyano Huskies head coach, Keegan Kuhr said: "Serve and pass, serve with purpose and pass well. They run a quick offense so the only way to put pressure on them is to serve well."
