MVB | Kodiaks bring the noise against the Lions

January 31 2019 - The Kodiaks were back in action at home taking on the Ambrose Lions on Make Some Noise for Mental Health night.

The Kodiaks were not ready to lose their winning streak yet as they dominated the court. Jared Vanderzwaag from the Ambrose Lions battled to defended his team with six digs in the first set. However, Carter Hansen continued to smash the ball achieving six kills. Taking the first set 25-23.

The Lions continued to fight for victory however the Kodiaks were ready for everything they threw their way. There was no stopping the Kodiaks as they brought the heat and held back nothing. The Kodiaks won the second set 25-20.

The Kodiaks continued to bring the momentum in the third set with their aggressive hits and amazing defense. Not much was getting by them tonight as they closed out the second set 25-19.  

The Kodiaks entered the game looking to continue their perfect season and did not disappoint with a 3 sets to 0 victory.

With this win the Kodiaks advance their record to 19-0 in the season, while the Lions fall to 4-17. Both teams will be back in action on Saturday to finish out a home-and-home series in Calgary.
