Eagles take another 5 set match vs. the Thunder

TKU Eagles were back at home after playing a tight, 5 set match versus the Concordia Thunder last night. Both teams did not disappoint as there was little to seperate the teams. In the first set, both teams continued to battle as they went back and forth, but the Eagles were able to edge the Thunder 25-23. In the second set, Concordia came right back, as they took the set 25-22. In the third, the Eagles pushed back as they continued to play well, as they took the set 25-19. In the fourth set, it was the Thunder's turn to push back as they took the set 25-19. In the fifth and deciding set, the Thunder came out with an early lead. But the Eagles clawed their way back. It was neck and neck until the end, but the Eagles were able to pull it off, and win the last set 15-13.

The Eagles will be playing away from home next weekend at Fort McMurray, as they play the Keyano College Huskies.
