Vikings take win in 3 sets over Rustlers

Camrose, AB - The Augustana Vikings played the Lakeland Rustlers in their second game against each other back from the Christmas break. The Vikings won a close game with three sets of 25-23, 26-24, then 25-19, respectively.

The first set was a close match with the Augustana Vikings winning 25-23 against the Lakeland Rustlers. The second setting was once again a very close match of a score of 26-24 for Augustana. The third set was not as close as the first two with Augustana winning 25-19. This was the same score from their last set against the Lakeland Rustlers in their previous game together. The fans cheers were again palpable throughout the game.

From the Lakeland Rustlers,  third year business student Alexei Walisser, number twelve,won the player of the game with eleven kills, and five digs. From the Augustana Vikings, fourth year biology student Duncan McDonald, number thirteen, won the player of the game with ten kills, six digs, and three blocks.
