Ooks defeat Rustlers in 4

The NAIT Ooks defeated the Lakeland Rustlers in 4 sets (25-17, 25-20, 21-25, 25-20) Friday night in Lloydminster.

The Rustlers got down early to start the match but were able to cut the Ooks lead to 16-12.  The Rustlers tried to fight back, the deficit was too much, as they lost 25-17.  The two teams went back and forth to start the second set, tying the score at 4 early.  The Ooks then would go on an 8-2 run, opening up a 12-6 lead.  The Rustlers tried to fight back in the set, but lost 25-20.  The Rustlers showed strong, determined play to start the third set, leading by as many as five early on.  The Ooks would fight back and tie the game at 17, but the Rustlers were determined to win a set as they won 25-21.  The teams would go back and forth to start the fourth set before the Rustlers opened up a lead.  The Ooks would fight back and ultimately take the set 25-20.
