Trojans double up Rustlers to return to Gold Medal game

The SAIT Trojans are headed back to the Gold Medal game at the 2023 Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) Men's Futsal Championship following a 4-2 victory against the Lakeland College Rustlers at the Syncrude Sport and Wellness Centre in Fort McMurray, Alta.

Giordano Ciccacci put the Rustlers up 1-0 after the first half in a tight defensive battle, but the Trojans found the resolve to come back in the match. 

Jacob Hunter, Nicolas Gonzalez, Soliman Aria, and Kwasi Oteng all scored to power the defending ACAC champions ahead in the match. 

Samuel Dosumu scored for the Rustlers in the second half. 

Gavin Quinlan of the Rustlers and Gonzalez of the Trojans were named as the Players of the Game.
