CALGARY, ALTA., (Feb. 11, 2023) - The SAIT Trojans men's hockey team lost a very physical battle Saturday night.

In a game that saw the penalty boxes rarley left unattended, the Trojans fell 6-2 to the University of Alberta-Augustana Vikings in their Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) matchup contested at Winsport Arena.

SAIT falls to 13-7-2 on the season while the Vikings improved to 10-7-3.

The Trojans received goals from Brandon Machado and Zach Cox.

Tanner Manz scored twice for the Vikings while Gerrick Ripley, Cam Shorrack, Quinton Sudom and Rhys Bremner also tallied.

Cox and Gudjonson were named Players of the Game.
