Ooks pull away for fifteenth win

EDMONTON, Alta. – Two teams at opposite sides of the standings faced off on Friday night with the Ooks coming away with a 7-1 victory. Jared Legien led the way with a hat-trick to extend his lead atop the ACAC goal scoring race.

Bouncing back from a loss in their last game, NAIT scored seven unanswered goals to continue their undefeated record at home. Of special significance on the night was NAIT goalie Dylan Faulkner recording the first win of his Ooks career, only allowing one goal in a tremendous outing.

Things got a little heated with a couple of game ejections on the Voyageurs as well as a string of unsportsmanlike penalties on both sides late in the third period.
