Men's Basketball TKU Eagles v. NWP Wolves

On January 10, the King's University Eagles Men's basketball team took on North Western Polytechnic at 8:00 p.m. in the King's University gymnasium. 

 

In the first quarter, the Wolves started strong, with Christian Liwanag contributing a great layup, drives, and a three-pointer. Kaden Gravengard was dominant in the paint, hitting a shot and two strong rebound shots. Anthony Kibonge added a nice shot and drive, while Pierce Deditch showcased his skills with a great hook shot. Brandan Gillis also impressed with a solid drive to the basket. For the Eagles, Brock Stupar made his presence felt with great rebounds, layups, a solid drive, and a three-pointer. Jonathan Barwegan added a steal, a drive, and a three-pointer, while Logan Den Oudsten contributed with a great hook shot.

 

In the second quarter, the Wolves continued their strong play, with Kaden Gravengard impressing with a drive, and Pierce Deditch adding a key rebound shot. Mitchell Crosina showed his skills with a hook shot, while John Sasi added another hook shot. Kaden Reid knocked down a key three-pointer, and Anthony Kibonge made two crucial three-pointers and shots. Christian Liwanag also added another layup. On the Eagles' side, Jonathan Barwegan continued his excellent play with great shots, and Brock Stupar added a pair of strong layups. Logan Den Oudsten contributed with great shots, while Evan Castle made an important shot as well.

 

In the third quarter, the Wolves saw a strong shooting performance from Darnell Stewart, who made a key three-pointer. Christian Liwanag continued his hot shooting with another three-pointer and shots, while Kaden Gravengard kept the offense flowing with several strong shots. Branden Gillis also knocked down a key three-pointer. The Eagles responded with Brock Stupar, who continued to drive effectively and added a three-pointer. Logan Den Oudsten hit several key shots, and Jonathan Barwegan impressed with a great hook shot and a three-pointer. Benjamin Thess also contributed with a fantastic block, showcasing the Eagles' defensive effort.

 

In the fourth and final quarter, the Wolves had a solid finish, with Darnell Stewart hitting another great shot, and Christian Liwanag continuing to score with great shots. Mitchell Crosina added a crucial three-pointer, and Kaden Reid made a key three-pointer and a layup. Kaden Gravengard contributed a great block, while Anthony Kibonge added another three-pointer, and Pierce Deditch made a series of solid shots. The Eagles fought back, with Logan Den Oudsten hitting more shots and a three-pointer. Brock Stupar responded with a strong drive and another three-pointer, while Benjamin Thess contributed with a three-pointer and a layup. Jonathan Barwegan also made a great three-pointer, but it wasn't enough to close the gap.

 

With high liveliness in the gym's atmosphere, both teams did a fantastic hardworking job in today's game.
