Coming off of an upset win on Friday night, the Clippers were hoping for more of the same as they rematched against the Medicine Hat Rattlers on Saturday afternoon.
The Rattlers came out to a storming six point lead to start the game, before the Clippers began to score some points themselves to stay within striking distance. Eventually the Rattlers would lead into the second quarter with a 21-15 lead.
The Clippers would close in on the Rattlers lead in the second quarter due to a flurry of scoring by #13 Oroma Bongomin, while #6 Matthew Bryant and #4 Riley Seaborn also provided a few buckets. The Rattlers would have a strong end to the second quarter, leading 46-41 to end the half.
The third quarter was neck and neck, with both teams trading baskets. The Clippers would come out of the quarter on top with a 59-58 lead heading into the final stretch.
While the beginning of the fourth was deadlocked, the Rattlers would mount a strong offensive front to take the lead and overpower the Clippers to victory, winning 87-76.
The players of the game were awarded to #21 Fred Kabore for the Rattlers who finished with 11 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists, and #4 Riley Seaborn for the Clippers who finished with 25 points, 12 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals.
