The Northwestern Polytechnic Wolves welcomes the NAIT Ooks to Grande Prairie for a late Friday night game.

The first quarter begins with a basket from #13 Kujtim Ujkani from the NWP Wolves. NWP follows with 2 more baskets bringing the score to 6:0. #4 Benjamin Kamba scores the first basket for the NAIT Ooks. #24 Antonio Benjamin gains the Ooks a 1 point lead by scoring a 2 pointer, the score is 6:7. Wolves move aggressively and score multiple baskets. #08 Christian Liwanag shoots brining NWP score to 15 to Ooks 7. Timeout is called by the Wolves at 15:13, with NWP in the lead. The first quarter ends with NWP leading 15:13.

The second quarter begins with a basket from NAIT #7 Griffin Lorenz bringing the score to 15:15. The second half begins with a 3 pointer from Manny Iloka of the NWP Wolves. This is quickly followed by a 2 pointer by NAIT bringing the score to 33:33. NAIT tips in a 2-pointer bringing the score to 40:37, NAIT has a 3-point lead. Back and forth baskets continue and NAIT maintains a 2-point lead. NAIT scores another basket bringing the score to 41:45. With seconds left on the clock #11 Terrance Lennox shoots to close the gap to 1 point. Third quarter ends with NAIT ahead 45:44.

The final quarter of the game begins with a basket from NAIT, giving them a 3-point lead. NWP Wolves call a time out at 46:47 with NAIT leading by one. Following the time out NAIT extends their lead to 3. #20 Manny Iloka from NWP slam dunks bringing the score to 50:52 with NAIT ahead by 2. This is immediately followed by NAIT calling a time out. #20 Manny Iloka gets another 2-pointer to tie the game. Another basket is scored, and NWP takes the lead 54:52. The back-and-forth action continues as NAIT then ties the game.  A time out is called by NWP while NAIT leads by 2 points. They maintain this lead until the end of the final quarter.

This close matchup ends with victory for the NAIT Ooks with a final score of 56:54
