Northwestern Polytechnic welcomed the NAIT Ooks to the NWP Gym for a Saturday afternoon game.

The first quarter action begins with a basket from #13 Kujtim Ujkani, quickly reciprocated by a basket from NAIT to tie the game 2:2 at the start.  The back and forth action continues and Wolves take a 1 point lead 11:10 thanks to a bucket from #20 Manny Iloka. Wolves call a time out at 14:18 with NAIT in the lead by 4. The first quarter ends with a score of 22:26 with Ooks in the lead.

As we head into the second quarter scoring is opened by #08 Christian Liwanag of the NWP Wolves. #20 Manny Iloka gets a 2-pointer leading to a tied game of 26:26. #13 Kujitim Ujkani sinks two free throws bringing the score to 31:31. #6 Darnell Stewart lands a 3 pointer giving the Wolves a 3 point lead. Time out is called by NAIT at 36:31 with Wolves in the lead. Following the time out the Wolves continue to extend their lead with a basket from #20 Manny Iloka. NAIT closes the gap down to 1 with a basket from #11 Epharim Humilde. This is followed by a Wolves time out. The first half comes to an end with NWP in the lead 42:38.

The second half action begins with a basket from #7 Favour Adekojo bringing the score to 44:38 with Wolves maintaining the lead. #04 Benjamin Kamba of NAIT lays up a 2 pointer and brings the score to 44:42, closing the lead. #13 Kujtim Ujkani sinks 2 free throws bringing the score to 50:45 with Wolves leading by 5. NAIT responds with a quick basket closing the gap to 3. #7 Griffin Lorenz shoots a 3 pointer and ties the game for the NAIT Ooks. Both teams continue to shoot and we end the third quarter with Wolves in a 1-point lead 55:54.

We come back with final quarter action and both teams continue to play a close game. #4 Benjamin Kamba gets another basket bringing the NAIT Ooks to a 1-point lead of 58:59. #6 Darnell Stewart shoots a 3 pointer to retake the lead for the Wolves 61 to the Ooks 59. NAIT gets another 2 pointer to yet again tie this close match. Wolves hustle and gain a 6-point lead. This is followed by a NAIT called time out. Following the time out NAIT scores 2 points, which is then followed by a Wolves time out at 67:63. #3 of the NAIT Ooks brings the score to 71:67. Another basket is quickly sunk after by NAIT closing the gap to 2 points. Wolves call a time out with 22 seconds left on the clock. #7 Favour Adekojo sinks 2 free throws for the NWP Wolves extending the lead to 4.  #4 Benjamin Kamada of the NAIT Ooks sinks 2 free throws bringing the score to 73:71, Wolves maintain a 2-point lead. #7 Favour Adekojo for the Wolves sinks another 2 free throws, and the Wolves come out victorious with a final score of 75:71.
