After a grueling overtime win in Camrose, the Lakeland Rustlers were able to hold off any comeback notions from the Augustana Vikings at home.
Lakeland was strong on the defensive end throughout the night, holding the Vikings to just 26 points in the first half and lead 69-42 heading into the fourth quarter. There the visitors were able to cut the deficit to 15, but it was too little too late, as the home team took the victory 85-70.
Baha Salma was the Rustlers POG, posting 20 points and 5 assists, while Ryan Degner scored 17 points for the Vikings. Lakeland improves to 5-5 heading into the Christmas break.
