MBB| RDP Kings Snap Kodiaks 9 Game Winning Streak Giving Them Their First Loss of The Season

The Kodiaks faced off against the RDP Kings in search of their 10th straight win of the season and take the weekend doubleheader while the Kings looked to get revenge after Friday's nailbiter.

The Kodiaks wasted no time putting the pressure on the Kings carrying some of the momentum over from their Friday matchup as Kodiaks #11 Brady Baines showcased his sharpshooting skills going 2-4 from outside the arch in the quarter before the Kings caught the Kodiaks off guard making a quick comeback to bounce out in front and finish the 1st with a 21-20 lead over the Kodiaks.

The Kings were all over the Kodiaks in the 2nd quarter as the Kodiaks could not get anything up and RDP took advantage of that and put up crucial points on the other end of the court allowing the Kings to hold a 15-point lead over the Kodiaks headed into to halftime with 6 of those coming from Kings #7 Bernardo Moller putting RDP up 39-24 after the first half.

The Kodiaks continued to struggle on the court coming into the 2nd half, but the Kings had slowed down allowing the Kodiaks some time to figure things out. The Kodiaks outscored RDP 18-15 gaining some ground on them but still trailed 54-42 going into the 4th quarter.

The Kodiaks looked to come up with something to get themselves back in the game but whatever they tried; the Kings were there to shut it down. The Kings, however, were able to maintain their grooving which turned into an ever-growing lead with Kings #12 Eduardo Crespo grabbing 9 points in the quarter and 25 on the night to dethrone the Kodiaks giving them their first loss of the season as the Kodiaks fell 75-63 to RDP.
