Rattlers beat the Broncos 88-78 to round out the first semester

The Medicine Hat College Rattlers looked to complete the weekend sweep of the Olds College Broncos as they played a second game on the MHC SnakePit court.  The Rattlers came out flying and took it to the Broncos.  At the end of the first quarter, the Rattlers were up 23-9.  The second quarter was closer and the Broncos outscored the Rattlers 24-23 but trailed 46-33 going in to the half.  The second half was tighter affair.  The Rattlers lead by 10 after three quarters.  The Broncos closed the lead to 4 in the fourth quarter but Medicine Hat dug deep and pushed their way to a 88-78 victory.  The Rattlers finish their first semester of action with an 8-2 record while the Broncos fell to 1-9.  The ACAC Players of the game were #13 Andre Fields from the Broncos, with 36 points and 10 rebounds, and #23 Cooper Ward from the Rattlers with 19 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists.
