Lightning hold onto nail bitter

It was a close start to the first quarter with the Lightning leading 22 – 20. The Lightning came out strong and extended their lead to 46 – 37 to close the first half of the game. With Johnpaul Okodua leading the Lightning with 18 points and 8 rebounds. The Vikings came out firing in the third quarter but the Lightning held on strong keeping a 10 point lead to end the third at 70 – 60. The Lightning battled hard against the relentless Vikings with a close hard fought battle to end the game with the Lightning taking the win. Johnpaul led his team to victory with 29 points, 11 rebounds and 3 blocks. While Vikings #11 led his team with 35 points, 15 rebounds and 1 steal. Players of the game for both teams were #10 Johnpaul Okodua for the Lightning and #6 Marc Parma for the Vikings. This pushes the Lightning men's to a 3 – 2 record to end their home game stretch for the year.
