Rattlers fall at home to SAIT

The SAIT Trojans headed to Medicine Hat to take on the Rattlers in a rematch from the previous week. Both teams came out of the gate sprinting with baskets on both ends of the floor. Medicine Hat looked to their inside game while SAIT was firing long range daggers. Both teams were pushing the ball hard and looked to exploit any advantage they could. Unfortunately for both squads, there was little to give from both sides. At the half Medicine Hat held a 3 point lead 46-43

The second half saw the Rattlers come out of the room ice cold. Missing on their first 4 trips down the floor, the Trojans were able to close the gap and open a lead of their own. This early flourish was able to push them through to take a big lead in the quarter going up by 5 heading in to the fourth. In the Last quarter the Rattlers battled back to tie the game with just over 2 minutes on the clock. The Rattlers were called for many fouls late as the Trojans continually marched to the line and iced the game from the charity stripe. A late push from the Rattlers saw them close the gap but ultimately fall short losing 88-82
