Ooks Defeat Wolves on Home Court

The NAIT Ooks play against the GPRC Wolves on Friday night in the NAIT Gymnasium. The NAIT Ooks won the game 92-70.

The start of the game between the Ooks and the Wolves was close as play went back and forth. The top score changed multiple times between the two teams. However, at the end of the first quarter, the Ooks were able to have a slight lead of 19-12.

In the second quarter, both teams played well on both ends of the court. The Ooks continued their momentum from the first quarter, resulting in a fifteen-point lead. However, the Wolves continued to play and made a scoring run of their own, with multiple three-pointers. At halftime, the Ooks and Wolves were tied 39-39.

After halftime, the game stayed reasonably even between the Wolves and the Ooks. With around 5 minutes left in the third quarter, the Ooks went on another scoring run to end the quarter with an eighteen-point, 68-50.

In the fourth quarter, 3-pointers were exchanged by both the Wolves and Ooks. The Ooks lead from the third quarter made it very difficult for the Wolves to close the score gap. The Ooks won the game 92-70.
