Lightning pull away late beat the Rattlers 93-72

On the last Friday night of thefirst semester, the Medicine Hat College Rattlers played host to the visiting St. Mary's Lightning at their temporary home, the Family Leisure Centre. It was tight back and forth first quarter that saw the lead change hands and the Lightning leading 17-16. The second quarter was nother close one and the Rattlers trailed by five 37-32 at the break. The third quarter was another close one with the Lightning outscoring the Rattlers by 4 to extend their lead. The fourth quarter was where the Lightning pulled away outscoring the Rattlers 30-18 to earn a 93-72 victory. The player of the game for the Lightning was #13 Averie Armbrister and it was #22 Tanner Scott for the Rattlers. The two teams close out the first semester tomorrow night in Calgary.
