The Kings men's basketball team hosted the Lakeland Rustlers for a game at The Kings University.
Kings were the first to score with a layup immediately after tipoff. Kings was able to maintain the lead throughout the first quarter in what became a closely-contested battle. Lakeland was able to take the lead in the second quarter. Isaiah Guerrier managed to sneak in a layup right at the buzzer, making the score 46-45 at halftime in favor of Lakeland.
The game continued to be a close one all throughout the 3rd quarter. In the 4th quarter, Lakeland surged to a 40 point lead thanks to a dial up of their defense. They were able to maintain this lead to win the game 105-76.
