Broncos Men's Basketball win at home

Olds College Broncos win over the Red Deer Polytechnic (RDP) Kings with a score of 86-78 on November 20, 2021 at the Ralph Klein Centre. 

A strong first quarter saw the Kings leading over the Broncos by a score of 19-17. Adrian Deere leads the Broncos with 10 points and Nick McKee leads the team in defensive rebounds. Kevin Szymanek from the Kings matches McKee in rebounds while Brett Hochhausen leads the Kings with 5 points.

The second quarter sees the Broncos gain 25 points to take the lead before the half with a score of 42-33. Again, Deere has a great quarter with 8 points and Luke Baker helps out with 4 points. Both Hochhausen and King contribute 4 points for the RDP Kings while Edwardo Crespo contributes offensively with rebounds. 

The Kings took back some momentum in the third quarter scoring 23 points to the Broncos 18. Tyronn King has 10 points and Guilherme Lacerda Ferreira contributing 4 points for the Kings. Mobin Ali and Adrian Deere contribute with 4 points each with McKee leading the team in defensive rebounds. The score at the end of the third quarter was 60-56 for the Broncos. 

It was a big fourth quarter for both the Broncos and the Kings. Austin Nzige-Nyambok, Nick McKee and Adrian Deere are big contributors to the Broncos 26 points in the fourth quarter. Tyronn King leads the Kings with 10 points and Kirklan Hall contributes offensively and defensively with 3 rebounds.  

The player of the game for the RDP Kings was number 22, Kirklan Hall and the player of the game for the Broncos was number 14, Adrian Deere.
