Trojans fall to Lions

CALGARY, ALTA., (Nov. 19, 2021) - The SAIT Trojans men's basketball team dropped their first game of the season Friday night.

The Trojans struggled to shoot the ball well, as they fell to crosstown rival - the Ambrose University Lions - 83-74 in their Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) game played at SAIT's Campus Centre.

SAIT falls to 2-1 on the season, while Ambrose improves to 2-1.

The Lions were led by Isaac Grey, who scored a game-high 25 points in the win.

The Trojans were led by Amin Suleman, who scored 22 points in the losing effort.

SAIT and the Lions will complete their weekend home-and-home set Saturday night across town at Ambrose University - game time is set for 3pm.

Suleman and Grey were named Players of the Game.
