The Lakeland College Men's basketball team hosted the Augustana Vikings on February 14th.
The Lakeland College Men's Basketball team looked to push a playoff spot this week with a couple of wins over the Vikings. But the Vikings would come out strong and take the lead after the first quarter with a score of 24-20.
The Rustlers would go to work in the second quarter outscoring the Vikings by 7 and taking the lead into half time. With the Rustlers ahead 46-44 going into the second half of play.
The Vikings weren't happy with the way they went out in the latter half of the 1st half and would hold Lakeland to just 12 points and would regain the lead. Vikings lead 63-58.
The Vikings would go onto score 38 points and finish off the Rustlers with the score of 100-81
