Ooks ride out comeback attempt to down Vikings

EDMONTON, Alta. – At times in what was a feisty affair, NAIT was able to hold off a late charge from the Augustana Vikings to come away with a victory on Friday night at home.

Holding a six-point lead after halftime and stretching it to eleven after three, the Vikings came within two with one-minute left to give a scare to the Ooks and its fans.

Led by Sean-Michael Clancey and his 35 points, the Ooks improved to 6-1 at home this season and stretched their win streak to three games.

The two teams are now tied in the standings for points, and the season series at 2-1 for the NAIT Ooks.
