Rustlers Fall at Home

The Lakeland College Rustlers Hosted the Concordia Thunder on November the 15th. The Rustlers were looking to bounce back after a tough previous week with a win over the Thunder. The Lakeland College Rustlers would look to take the lead in the first quarter however, the Thunder would take the lead going into the 2nd quarter with a score of 18-17 Thunder. The Rustlers veteran core looked to make there way back into the game. With the Thunders, strong offensive pressure the Rustlers struggled to slow the push from Concordia. With the Thunder building a lead on the Rustlers in the 1st half the Rustlers would have to come out strong to erase the 44-33 deficit. The Rustlers would continue to fall behind the Thunder. The Thunder would add onto there lead giving them a 70-51 lead going into the 4th quarter. The Rustlers would have a couple oppertunites to bring the game back into there favour however, Thunders defence would shut that down. Concordia Thunder walk away with a win on the road. With the final score being 88-70.
