Keyano’s Tim Ebbs Named to Australia’s AVC Nations Cup Roster

Keyano Huskies Men's Volleyball student-athlete Tim Ebbs has been selected to Australia's squad for the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) Nations Cup taking place from June 17-24 in Manama, Bahrain.
"He's one of the hardest-working athletes out there," Men's Volleyball Head Coach Keegan Kuhr said of Ebbs, who joined the Huskies ahead of the 2024-25 academic year. "It’s awesome to see his efforts being recognized. Best of luck to Tim and the Volleyroos at their upcoming tournament.
"We can’t wait to have him back and see all the experience he brings to our team this season."
Ebbs, who joined the Huskies as an outside hitter, is listed as a libero for the upcoming tournament. Australia will open the tournament in Pool B, competing with Qatar and Kazakhstan. The tournament serves as a pathway for nations to qualify for the FIVB Volleyball Nations League. The champion also qualifies for the 2026 Asian Championship.
“This is a key event in the Volleyroos preparation ahead of the 2026 Asian Championships, which will serve as a qualification milestone for LA2028," noted Volleyball Australia's National Performance Director Craig Marshall in a release from the organization on June 5. "Competing against quality opposition at the Nations Cup will test our systems and give the athletes a real sense of where they stand on the world stage."
