ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Vanessa Pietramala's experience and poise were on display for the Thunder's women's soccer team during their ACAC Championship winning run this weekend in Lethbridge.
The 5th year midfielder got the primary assist on the game winning goal in their semi-final matchup against the RDP Queens, as well as stepped up to take the opening penalty kick in the gold medal game against the NAIT Ooks, which she put home with ease.
For her excellent display, the ACAC North Player of the Year was named a tournament all-star.
