ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Ryley Bullock came to play in a weekend sweep for the Keyano Huskies Women's Basketball team. 
 
In Friday’s 91-53 win against the Northwestern Polytechnic Wolves, Bullock scored 35 points while adding 11 rebounds for her first double-double of the season. She also added three steals, and two assists to pick up Player of the Game honours. 
 
Thirteen of those points came in the first quarter as the Huskies leapt out to a 23-9 lead. She added 11 more points in the second quarter to finish the first half with 24. 
 
Saturday, Bullock was back with 18 points in a 82-53 win for the Huskies. She also contributed five rebounds, five steals, and four assists. Of her 18 points, 13 came in the second quarter as the Huskies increased their lead to 20 in the match. 
 
Bullock has made an immediate impact with the Huskies, averaging 18.8 points per game, along with 5.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 4.8 steals on a per game basis. Bullock is shooting 56.5 percent from the field and 58.3 percent from three-point range. 
 
The Huskies hit the road for the first time in the regular season this coming weekend, taking on the Red Deer Polytechnic Queens and Olds College Broncos.

GAME ON: A GLIMPSE AHEAD
The Huskies will begin their first road weekend against the Red Deer Polytechnic Queens on Friday before a date with the Olds College Broncos Saturday. Tip-off is scheduled for 6:00pm for both games.
