Jacob Arsenault, the captain and anchor of the Briercrest Clippers Hockey team, delivered a standout performance during the team’s Alumni Weekend, leading the Clippers to a crucial home sweep against Red Deer Polytechnic. A Business Administration student in his fourth year of eligibility, Jacob’s leadership and tireless play were pivotal as the Clippers approached the final games before the Christmas break.
Hailing from Richmond, PEI, Jacob logged significant ice time throughout the weekend, serving as a defensive cornerstone while also contributing heavily to the offense. On Friday, he tallied 2 goals and 1 assist, setting the tone for the series. He followed that with another strong outing on Saturday, recording 1 goal and 1 assist, bringing his total to 5 points across the two games.
Jacob’s ability to dominate both defensively and offensively, coupled with his leadership, made him a standout during a key stretch for the Clippers. His contributions were a fitting highlight for the Alumni Weekend celebration and an inspiring example of dedication and excellence for the team.
