Harleen Singh, Keyano Huskies, Women's Soccer

ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

In the final regular season weekend of her incredible ACAC career, Singh scored four goals and added four assists as the Huskies leapfrogged their opposition to claim the final playoff spot in the ACAC North Division.

"Harleen’s biggest attribute this weekend was that she really wanted to help her team succeed," Head Coach Tiffany Fontaine said. "Obviously that’s what makes a great teammate is when it’s more about the team than it is about yourself. She ended up getting stats that helped her, but our team really came together with that presence on the field."

Singh and the Huskies took care of their first game Friday, topping The King's University Eagles 2-1 in Edmonton. On the road in Lac La Biche, Sunday, Singh scored four goals and added four assists in a 16-0 win against the Portage College Voyageurs.

In the win, Singh scored the sixth, seventh, eighth, and 15th goals of the game while also assisting on the fifth, ninth, 12th, and 13th goals by the Huskies. Singh finished the season with 10 goals and 13 assists, leading the entire conference in assists and ranking tied for sixth in goals.

A University Transfer student in her fifth year of eligibility, Singh closed out the regular season side of her ACAC career with 32 goals and 35 assists.
