ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Aminja Abbe had one of his best weekends as a Bronco in helping the team to a four-point weekend.
On Saturday against Medicine Hat, the dynamic forward was all over the ball and found himself in the right place at the right time, scoring twice and later adding an assist in the Broncos' 4-1 win en route to earning Player of the Game honours. Aminja also came up clutch in the Broncos' Sunday outing against Lethbridge, securing an assist on a beautiful cross to help the Broncos pull out a 1-1 draw with the Kodiaks.
The Calgary product is in his fourth year of eligibility and third with the Broncos overall; he is studying Sports Management at Olds College of Agriculture & Technology.
