Rattlers fall 3-0 to the visiting Kodiaks

The Medicine Hat College Rattlers and the Lethbridge College Kodiaks met in Medicine Hat for a rare Friday afternoon match.  The Kodiaks came out quickly with Taylor Hrycun scoring in the games 4th minute.  Hrycun was at in again 1o minutes later as she banged in her second of the match.  Montana Rousselle made it 3-0 just before the half time whistle blew extending the Kodiaks lead to three.  The second half was much closer as the Rattlers, with a couple of new players, showed they were able to hang with the Kodiaks.  The teams went back and forth and when the final whistle sounded, the Kodiaks emerged victorious with a 3-0 decision.  With the win, the Kodiaks move to 4-2-1 on the season, while the loss drops the Rattlers to 0-6-0.  The ACAC Players of the Game were #6 Taylor Hrycun from the Kodiaks and #20 Ana Waurynchuk from the Rattlers.  Medicine Hat returns to the pitch on Sunday when they host the Ambrose Lions.
