On a beautiful Sunday afternoon with temperatures hitting 30C, the Medicine Hat College Rattlers women's soccer team turned up the heat themselves exploding for 12 goals in a 12-0 victory over the Ambrose Lions. Maisa Rebello had 3 goals by halftime and the Rattlers were up 7-0. Rebello added 2 more in the second half to give her 5 in the game and 9 on the season. Shelby Bach and Emily Lafreniere each had 2 goals while Tamara Barth, Morgan Tole and Ana Waurynchuk each hit the back of the net as well. An unfortunate red card to Lions keeper Olivia Awe, saw emergency backup Tristan Kondo take the net making several saves and earning her the player of the game for her efforts. The player of the game for the Rattlers was Maisa Rebello after her 5 goal performance. The win moves the Rattlers to 2-1-0 on the season while the loss drops the Lions to 0-3-0.
