Lakeland Rustlers triumph over the Voyageurs

LAC LA BICHE – Led by Gracie Smithson's three goals, the Lakeland College Rustlers triumphed over the Portage College Voyageurs 8-0 at the ACAC Futsal North Regional at the Bold Center Saturday morning. Mia Agioritis chipped in with two goals while Sara Manderville, Annika Brown and Kayla Mondue has singles. The result brings the Lakeland Rustlers record to 1-1 while the Portage Voyageurs fall to 0-2. The top three teams from the weekend's action will qualify for the ACAC Championships March 10-12 in Fort McMurray.

Player of the game for the Lakeland Rustlers was Gracie Smithson and the Player of the Game for the Portage Voyageurs was Gaelyn Verdin.
