Ambrose and Augustana met today at the Augustana field. Both teams came ready to play despite the heat. #17 Uzbeks Augustana started the game strong by scoring within the first 3 minutes. This was quickly followed by 3 more Augustana players, #25Boyce, #9Tollefson, and #5Vermeer, each scoring making the score 4-0. Ambrose didn't admit defeat by pushing through with #10 Buchanan, and #13 Hermon both scoring to make the score 4-2. Ambrose goalie obtained a foul causing her to out of the game. Kurtzweg made some great saves and gave it her best attempt. Regardless of their best efforts, Augustana kept pushing and scored 6 more goals to make the final score 10-2.
#13 Hermon for Ambrose and #9 Tollefson played exceptionally well both earning themselves "player of the game".
