Vikings defeat Ooks 59-48

EDMONTON, Alta. - The NAIT Ooks women's basketball team fell to the Augustana Vikings 59-48 on Saturday night int the NAIT Gymnasium. 

The Vikings came out strong outscoring the Ooks 17-7 in the first quarter, creating a deficit that NAIT was unable to overcome, ultimately resulting in a 59-48 loss.

Despite scoring a game-high 23 points, Sydney Hurlburt was unable to lead her team victory. Augustana saw a balanced attack with three-players reaching double-digit points, which ultimately resulted in a win.
