Trojans score early, defeat Rustlers 6-0

The SAIT Trojans found the back of the net early and often in their 6-0 win over the Lakeland Rustlers. Trojans Matthew Jakuszko scored off a corner kick 1 minute into the game, giving the Trojans the early lead. Ten minutes later, William Akio scored his first of two goals in the half, scoring in the 11th and 30th minutes. The Trojans added two more goals before the half, Dean Northover scored in the 38th minute and Houcem El-Maaoui in the 44th minute, giving the Trojans a 5-0 halftime lead. Giving up 5 goals in the first half ended the day for Rustlers goal keeper Zach Wagner, who was replaced by Josh Hatzenbuuhler in net for the second half.  The lone goal in the second half for the Trojans was scored by Darel Ejikeme in the 85th minute. Trojans goal keeper Kyle Greenley faced 5 shots in goal. On the Rustlers side, Zach Wagner had faced 5 shots on goal and Josh Hatzenbuuhler faced 4 shots, making 3 saves. Player of the game for the Rustlers was #18 Evron Riggon and for the Trojans #8 Bryan Johnson.
