Rattlers outlast Broncos win 83-77

The Medicine Hat College Rattlers returned to the SnakePit to play hosts to the visiting Olds College Broncos in ACAC basketball action.  The Rattlers jumped out to a 17-4 lead early highlighted by a pair of huge dunks by Jordan Biggar and Zachary Vidal-Henry.  Olds looked to respond and starting chipping away at the Rattlers lead.  At the end of the first, the Rattlers were in front 21-14.  The Broncos came out firing in the second and used a 25-13 quarter to take a 39-34 lead in to the break.  The Rattlers got off to a slow start in the third before finding their legs and they regained the lead 55-53 going in to the fourth.  The Rattlers had their best scoring quarter of the night putting up 28 points to hold off the Broncos 83-77.  The ACAC players of the game were #7 Gurech Gurech for the Broncos and #10 Ethan Robinson for the Rattlers.  The two team will meet again tomorrow afternoon to wrap up their first semester of play.
